What will your legacy be? It’s an important question for each of us to consider. We probably pass down a lot more than we realize because we’re modeling behaviors and attitudes all the time. In this final message on Joseph we see the passing of his father Jacob and then also his own passing. What’s interesting is what they chose to focus on and model for their children and grandchildren. More than anything else they are focused on “Trusting a God Who Keeps His Promises.” We serve that same faithful God, are we talking about God’s promises? Are we living in light of those promises? Are we connecting others to God’s promises? Are we sharing the testimony of our encounters with God? The legacy we pass on can and should have eternal significance.
