We are continuing with our third message in our “Epic Meltdown” sermon series by looking at the disciple Peter. In the history of the church, the story of Peter denying Christ is one of the most infamous stories ever recorded in Scripture. The betrayal and fallout that resulted from it, is nothing short of a meltdown. However, in John 21:15-19, we see Jesus exhibiting great care and grace as He begins the process of restoration on Peter by calling him out three times with the phrase “Do you love Me?” The great lesson that Peter learned and that we can learn as well is that through all the victories and defeats in this life, it’s not really about our love for Jesus. It is really all about Jesus’ love for us. And that changes everything! We invite you to listen to this message.
