Oftentimes, we can become so familiar with something that we tend not to notice it and can even take it for granted. That is the danger we can face as we come to the Easter season. The accounts of palm Sunday, the cross, and the resurrection are so familiar to some of us, that we can easily go through the motions of a celebration without ever allowing the message of these events to touch our heart and soul. So, this Easter season, my challenge to all of us is to reflect on these accounts with a “fresh look”.
For this week’s sermon, let’s look at the familiar account of the triumphal entry of Jesus and hopefully, we can see it from a new place and not take it for granted.
