As Christians, we are called to humble ourselves and put all our trust in Christ. And that is precisely what we see in our life verse message coming from Acts 23:11….. “But on the night immediately following, the Lord stood at his side and said, “Take courage; for as you have solemnly witnessed to My cause at Jerusalem, so you must witness at Rome also.”
This verse might not be a typical life verse that someone has written in their wallet, or note card, or even tattooed on their arm. However, there is such a deep story and great lessons to be learned here that we can relate to very much. The core lesson is this: Take courage. Be led by God. Surrender to His plan. Remember, the gospel is a free and unearned gift from our heavenly Father. That’s one side of the coin and that’s incredible. And on the other side of the coin, we should be willing to give everything for the gospel. So, no matter the cost, we can take courage because He is worthy!
