We wrapped up our “Life Verse” sermon series by looking at 1st Thessalonians 5:16-18…… “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything gives thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” Truth be told, Christ may be seen in us the most when we don’t feel joyful, when we don’t want to pray, and when we can’t think of a reason to be thankful. Why? Because that is when we find out what’s inside of us, how authentic we are, and how mature we are as a Christian. When Christ is in our life, it should change us from the inside out. The impossible becomes possible because we have the power of the Holy Spirit in us that gives us the motivation to rejoice, to pray, to give thanks……even in the most difficult moments of our life.
