This week, we continued our “Saved” sermon series by looking at Acts 16:22-34. At first glance, it may seem like the apostle Paul and Silas were powerless and in a hopeless situation by being locked up in jail. However, it was really the jailer himself who needed to be set free from the chains of pride and self reliance. After a series of miraculous events including an earthquake, the humbled jailer received his answer to the question “What must I do to be saved?” This salvation story is such an amazing testimony of the lengths Jesus Christ will go to bring people into a saving, grace filled relationship with Him.
