We are continuing our sermon series of “Why Church?” One of the main objectives of the church is to be disciples who make disciples. When Jesus Christ was on earth, He had taught His followers many things and of all the instructions He ever spoke, His last words should really get our attention, “Go therefore and make disciples…” (Matthew 28:19). Some of us have this picture in our head that to make disciples we are required to be sent out as full time overseas missionaries . There are indeed people who are called to hop on a plane and go halfway across the world to reach groups of people for Christ. However, for most of us, God has put us right where we currently are for a reason. The only thing that is required of us is to be obedient and join in what God wants to do through us. Please listen to this message that shares some practical ways of being sent out to be a part of the discipleship process for Christ right where we are.
