If we delight in something then we are going to want to do it more and more and we will naturally be far more disciplined at it. If we don’t delight in something we’re doing, then regardless of what kind of discipline is put in place, we will most likely stumble, fall, fail, and eventually give up. This can ring true in our faith walk with Christ. Some of us may have a difficult time believing that Christ delights in us, and in turn, we may not really delight in Him as we should either. Here’s the truth of the gospel though…God’s delight in us can be seen so clearly in the cross. And from that, we can truly see the reason we can always delight in Him.
