Have you ever struggled with prayer?
Sometimes we can get discouraged because it feels like nothing happened.
Sometimes we can resign to the idea that God is going to do what God is going to do.
Sometimes we end up focusing more on what we can do, than on prayer.
Sometimes we end up turning to prayer just as a last resort.
Prayer is central to the passage we’re looking at today. As we continue our series today on the stories of perseverance in the book of Acts we come to Acts chapter 12. Peter has been arrested and is being held for execution. The church has gathered to pray and miracles start unfolding despite what we might consider a lack of faith on their part. This is an encouraging message that shows us anyone can engage with Christ in Fervent Prayer.
