The second part of our “UnStuck” series, was about identifying the place where you’re stuck. Looking at what that issue does for you, and what it has cost you relationally, financially and even spiritually.
We looked at where the Rich young ruler got stuck in Matthew 19 and Pastor Dan shared his own testimony in how God is showing Him the lie that has caused him to be stuck as well.
We all have stuff that has messed us up and if we don’t seek Jesus to heal and fill us, we will probably just switch one coping mechanism for another.
It is crucial that we not just try to fix ourselves… you won’t be able to do it, but with Christ all things are possible.
Dig deep:
• Ask Christ to show you the lies you’ve believed.
• Ask Him to speak truth into you.
• Ask Jesus to reveal your coping mechanisms.
• Ask Him to release you as you practice leaning into Him.
It’s important that we regularly take time to meet with Jesus and let him speak to us.
