We know from Scripture that when Nehemiah was challenged with overwhelming situations regarding the reconstruction of the wall, he did not panic, run, or quit. Instead, he prayed hard and we also see that he worked hard on what God was empowering him to do. Not only Nehemiah, but we see all the Israelites became inspired and rallied together to accomplish this seemingly impossible task. In the end, Nehemiah brought everyone together on top of the completed walls to give thanks for all that God had restored for them.
Likewise, we too can celebrate and give thanks to God for the restoring work of Jesus Christ in our lives. We too can meet Jesus at our “wall” and continually give thanks!
